09/25/18 - Turning 40...

As I turn 40 today, I am filled with overwhelming gratitude. 🙏🏼🔅I thank God for all of my many blessings, experiences, and lessons.

As this chapter begins, it makes me reflect on it all. I can’t help but miss my Dad, Grandma Ann & KK on such a significant day as this. (My angels in heaven who have all played a big part in who I am. I thank you and send my love to the heavens above. You are in my heart always.❤️🙌🏼)

🔅I feel grateful to be in great health, to wake up next to the love of my life, the life we share and continue to build together no matter what season, we are better than yesterday and I am thankful.

🔅To have experienced true joy, real love, & fondest memories within my tribe (my husband, my close family, dearest lifelong friendships and special connections I’ve made along the way.)*To have supported one another in all the victories and highs & walking beside each other in times of grief, low moments, and hollowing heartache. I place my hand over my heart and appreciate your love, devotion and meaning in my life.*

🔅To have crossed paths with many influential beings that have taught me so much about myself. Whether good or bad, I have learned to remain true to myself, always be myself, love with an open heart and be kind to everyone I meet.

🔅To find a way to laugh always, even at the expense of making a fool of myself which I have on many occasions. (Well it builds character & you can’t take life too seriously.) In trying times, to see it’s purpose and appreciate new found strengths.

🔅To live in the present and make as many memories with those in my life as possible.

🔅To make peace with the past, grow from the experiences, recognize, walk away, forgive, release and give less attention to anything that doesn’t have my best interest at heart, knowing that you don’t have to be for everybody. The show must go on.

🔅To continue to walk in faith, believe in myself, take loving care of me, to reach new goals in all that I seek, and be a light of encouragement to humanity and spread positivity in a world that can be cold, careless, and unkind.

🔅To have many fly by the seat of my pants moments keeping awareness that you only have this one life. I plan to make the most of, remain forever young at heart, and appreciate the ride ahead.
