Getting back into the swing of things after being out of town and catching a cold. It may be God's way of telling me to slow down. Nonetheless on the mend, food prepping, and ready to face the week ahead. In addition to this meal prep, I sautéed extra veggies and turkey breast steaks too. It sounds like work. But it's just a part of the clean eating lifestyle and you learn to make time for it and adapt. Food prepping makes for an uncomplicated week, gives more freedom to focus on reaching goals, and more time for people in your life. 👩🏻‍🍳👌🏼 Enjoy the rest of your Sunday! ❤️

Ingredients:

*1 package of chicken (I used stir fry chicken that's already sliced lengthwise.)

*about 1 Tbsp. of avocado oil

*2 Tbsp. of Coconut Secret Coconut Aminos

*2 Tbsp. of Wow-a-chihuahua seasoning & Himalayan pink salt to taste

*2 Tbsp. of Bragg's 24 Herbs & Spices seasoning

*2 Tbsp. of M&B Spices Organic Garlic & Parsley seasoning

*1 bag of Path of Life Super Food Pilaf Quinoa

*1 bag of Cascadian Farm frozen Organic California-Style blend veggies

Directions for pan seared chicken strips:

1) In the same medium skillet on medium heat, add about a tablespoon of avocado oil.

2) Add the chicken and season with a few turns of Himalayan pink salt, a few dashes of Wow-a-chihuahua seasoning, M&B's Organic Garlic & Parsley

seasoning, Bragg's 24 Herbs & Spices seasoning.

3) Pan sear for about 5-6 minutes on each side. (The outside should be evenly brown and inside fully cooked.)

4) Then add the coconut aminos.

5) Toss and simmer for a few minutes.

6) Remove from heat and set aside.

*Both the Super Food Pilaf Quinoa and the veggies can either be steamed or microwaved.

Portion serving: 3-4 oz. of sautéed chicken, 1 cup of veggies, & 1/2 cup of quinoa.
