Sunday food prep idea 💡 I know it's somewhat of a holiday weekend. But I have to set the tone for the week ahead. Plus having a road trip girls getaway weekend this Friday, I have to keep it honest. So....I pan seared 2 turkey tenderloins and popped them in the oven to finish them off. I used some of my staple seasonings and the flavor is 👌🏼 perfection. Then portioned out steamed broccoli and one of my favorite quinoa brands-Path of Life. 👩🏻🍳😋
Ingredients:
*1 pkg. of organic, turkey tenderloins (I used Plainville Farms and it had 2 in the package.)
*about 1 Tbsp. of avocado oil
*Bragg's 24 Herbs & Spices seasoning
*M&B Spices Organic Garlic & Parsley seasoning
*1 bag of Path of Life Super Food Pilaf Quinoa
*1 bag of Earthbound Farm frozen broccoli
Pan seared turkey tenderloin:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place 1 Tbsp. of avocado oil in the skillet and evening coat the entire bottom of the pan.
On the stove top, heat a cast iron or skillet over medium high heat .
Season the turkey tenderloins with Himalayan pink salt and the seasonings in the ingredient list.
Place the tenderloins in the skillet and sear until golden, about 4-5 minutes on each side.
Transfer to the oven on the bottom rack and bake for about 15-20 minutes.
Remove from oven and slice center area to make sure fully cooked.
*Both the quinoa mix and the veggies can either be steamed or microwaved.
Portion serving: 3-4 oz. of cooked turkey tenderloin, 1 cup of broccoli, & 1/2 cup of quinoa.
