A meal prep idea doesn't have to be complicated. But it does need to be portioned. Whether you use portion containers, measuring cups, or a food scale, it will help you not to overeat and get the right amount of nutrients your body needs. I know it seems like work and discipline but the flip side so does being unhappy for not reaching fitness level goals & knowing you're capable of doing more to get there.

Ingredients:

*1 pkg. of organic, turkey breast steaks (I used Plainville Farms and it had 5 in the package.)

*about 1 Tbsp. of avocado oil

*Wow-a-chihuahua seasoning & Himalayan pink salt to taste

*Bragg's 24 Herbs & Spices seasoning

*M&B Spices Organic Garlic & Parsley seasoning

*1 bag of Path of Life Organic Quinoa & Brown Rice

*1 bag of Earthbound Farm frozen whole Organic green beans

Directions for pan seared turkey breast steaks:

1) In a medium skillet on medium heat, add a tablespoon of avocado oil.

2) Add the turkey breast steaks and season with a few turns of Himalayan pink salt, a few dashes of Wow-a-chihuahua seasoning, Bragg's 24 Herbs & Spices seasoning, and M&B Spices Organic Garlic & Parsley seasoning.

3) Pan sear for about 5-6 minutes on each side. (The outside should be evenly brown and inside fully cooked.)

4) Remove from heat and let it rest.

*Both the Quinoa & Brown Rice mix and the veggies can either be steamed or microwaved.

Portion serving: 3-4 oz. of cooked turkey breast steaks, 1 cup of green beans, & 1/2 cup of quinoa & brown rice mix.
