Vitamin Packed Green Smoothie

It's Food Prep Sunday! 👩🏻🍳After champagne and celebratory drinks last night, I needed to recharge and energize myself with a homemade smoothie. Definitely helps with any hangover symptoms, really a great way to get in your fruits and veggies, and if you have children, I bet they will love it too. 😋 Well lots to do. Have a great day! 💓
Ingredients:
*2 handfuls of organic baby spinach
*1 banana, chopped
*1 green apple, chopped (I leave the peel on, optional)
*1 lemon, cut in half, remove the seeds, & squeezed
*1 Lime, cut in half & squeezed
*fresh ginger, about the size of a dime
*1 Tbsp. of ground cinnamon
*16 oz. of cold filtered water
Directions:
1) Add the spinach to the blender.
2) Add chopped bananas & apples.
3) Next squeeze both halves of the lemons and limes into the blender.
4) Then add the ginger and cinnamon,
5) Pour about 16oz. of cold filtered water into the blender.
6) Turn on the blender and mix till the ingredients has pureed.
7) Immediately pour into glasses.
8) Serve and enjoy!
(I like to drink it with a straw. Good to the last sip.)
